Refugee Rights Select Bibliography

Refugee Rights are a corpus of international and domestic law, primarily codified in the 1951 Refugee Convention and its 1967 Protocol, that establish the legal protections and minimum standards of treatment owed to individuals who have fled their home country due to a well-founded fear of persecution. The core principle of this body of law is non-refoulement, which prohibits states from returning a refugee to a territory where their life or freedom would be threatened.
