Generative AI

Coinciding with the release of Lexis+ AI, the Law Library created a series of instructional videos for students and otherImage of digital head community members on generative AI.  The videos explain how generative AI tools and large language models work, their limitations, and UC Law SF’s policies regarding their use.  The videos also provide tips on prompt creation and demonstrate how to use the tools effectively.

Faculty Bibliographies, California Bar Exams and UC Law SF Exam Migrations

The Law Library is in the process of migrating content from a home-grown database to more stable platforms. The migrated content includes the Faculty Bibliography database, the UC Law SF Exams database, and the California Bar Exams database.

The Faculty Bibliography database will be moved to the law school's main website. The target launch date is May 2024. The California Bar Exam database has moved to Sharknet for current UC Law SF students and recent graduates. The library's collection of past exams has moved to BePress.
