Certificate in Legal Research Program

The Certificate in Legal Research is an in-person training program created and taught by the librarians at the Law Library.

Guest Lectures

Law librarians provided topical research training in 14 classes during 2023-2024

Librarians also provided research training to 4 clinics and centers.

Student Orientations

In addition to library tours, the Law Library conducted 14 research orientations for student journal editors, LEOP participants, LLMs, HPL students, foreign exchange students, foreign scholars, and Moot Court participants. 

Legal Research Courses

  • Library staff taught 7 sections of Advanced Legal Research between Summer 2023 and Spring 2024
  • Hilary Hardcastle and Holly Herndon taught Legal Research & Writing for the HPL Program in Fall 2023
  • Hilary Hardcastle taught Legal Research for Non-Lawyers in the MSL Program in Fall 2023
