Step 1. First make sure the library does not own the journal with your article. Search the Law Library Catalog for the journal name.
Step 2. If you can't find the journal through the catalog search, use our e-Journals Finder. Search for the journal title.
Step 3. If you find the journal in print or online, check to make sure we have the volume and issue you need.
Step. 4. If you can't find the journal at the Law Library, go directly to the Tipasa login page (https://184.account.worldcat.org/account) and log in using your UC Law SF user name and password.
Step 5. Click on the "Create Request" button of your My Account home page.
Step 6. Select the Article Request Form at the top of the form. Fill in the fields with as much information as you have and click Submit Request. Your request has been sent to the ILL Department for processing. The request will now appear on your Requests list of your My Account home page.
Step 7. When your article arrives, you will receive an email with a link to retrieve your article. You may also download your article from the My Account home page. Log in to Tipasa (https://184.account.worldcat.org/account) and click the "Available to view" link next to your request to download a pdf copy of the article.
